After working with Dr. Marchionni and then with Dr. Mathias at the Asthma and Allergy department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center as a Research Data Analyst, Apurva started working with Dr. Palmer at the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Chicago as a Bioinformatician. They are now part of the Department of Psychiatry at University of California San Diego. Her research interests include Complex traits and Polygenic disorders, Genetic Influences on Addiction and Big data management.
